Kansas City, MO – September 1st. With more than four decades of experience in the protective coatings industry, Glenn D. Hauser is proud to announce the launch of Glenn Hauser Consulting, a specialized consultancy offering expert solutions in coating failure analysis, application guidance, and technical training.

A U.S. Army veteran and former Combat Engineer with the 588th Engineer Battalion at Fort Polk, Louisiana, Glenn brings military-honed values of precision, discipline, and mission-focused execution to every project. These values have shaped a coatings career spanning over 40 years and include roles as a painter, paint foreman, contractor, business owner, and technical service leader.

For over 20 years, Glenn served in the Technical Service Department of a leading coatings manufacturer, where he managed failure investigations, oversaw compatibility testing, led a technical service laboratory, and provided strategic repair guidance for complex coating challenges. His hands-on experience and deep technical expertise have made him a trusted resource across the industry.

In his new role, Glenn will continue his work in coating failure analysis and consulting, helping clients resolve challenging issues with practical, field-tested solutions. His approach is rooted in integrity, thorough investigation, and a commitment to getting it right the first time.

Glenn is also a respected instructor for the AMPP Coating Inspector Program (CIP), where he trains and mentors the next generation of coating professionals. He remains actively involved in the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP), serving on multiple technical committees and contributing to industry standards and best practices. Additionally, he is a member of the Material Performance Magazine Technical Advisory Board, the field’s most widely respected publication.
