About Glenn D. Hauser

I am the owner and principal consultant of Glenn Hauser Consulting LLC, where I provide protective coating consulting, coating inspection, corrosion consulting, and technical support services for clients throughout the industrial, water and wastewater, pipeline, infrastructure, and commercial markets.

Over the years, I have worked extensively with protective coating systems for both steel and concrete structures in a wide range of service environments. My work includes coating inspections, coating failure investigations, corrosion mitigation, condition assessments, specification review, surface preparation evaluation, and rehabilitation support for industrial and infrastructure assets.

I work with owners, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and facility operators to help improve coating performance, extend asset service life, and reduce long-term maintenance costs. My experience includes projects involving water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment plants, storage tanks, pipelines, industrial structures, secondary containment systems, concrete structures, and structural steel.

I hold multiple advanced certifications through the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP), including:

• AMPP Protective Coatings Specialist (PCS)
• AMPP Senior Certified Coating Inspector
• AMPP Certified Concrete Coating Inspector (CCI)

In addition to consulting and inspection services, I am also an AMPP instructor teaching the Coating Inspector Program (CIP) classes. Teaching allows me to stay actively involved in the industry while helping train and mentor the next generation of coating inspectors and industry professionals.

I stay active within the protective coatings industry through technical writing, webinars, inspection training, and published articles focused on corrosion prevention, coating failures, coating performance, and long-term asset preservation.

My goal with Glenn Hauser Consulting LLC is to provide practical, independent, and experience-driven solutions that help clients protect critical assets and achieve long-term coating system performance in demanding environments.
